i'm in. Done 830km since I got my bike in the first week of Nov, so will need a bit of a step up to get there... but I'll put myself down for 6000km for 2012. Looking fwd to the challenge :D

I am not, but a friend is in the background. May not be ready for the 1/1/2012, but fingers crossed it doesnt take too long.

It's never too late ... welcome.

Opened my account this morning with 68k in perfect conditions. Mix of rolling hills, lake views and a tour along the coast. Pity I forgot the camera. Happy :D http://app.strava.com/rides/3001510

When it is finally 2012 in the US you will need to go into Bike Journal and update your goal for 2012, your green bar should show up after 12mn when the green bars refresh next.

Glad that you're back for 2012

Well ... It's probably been a good 5-6 years since I've last ridden a bike, so I'm still finding my legs [hehe :P] with this whole cycling caper, but I knocked over a little 20K ride this morning.

We'll have to maintain a daily average of just under 16.5K in order to reach 6,000K by the end of the year.

I think I'll throw my hat in the ring. I'm probably more aiming for 5,000k, but what's 20% between friends? I'll make my goal 6,001 and see how I go.

Cheers,
Dave

Bike Journal has rolled over into 2012 so you can now enter your goal for this year :)

I've entered 6999.99 but it is showing as 7001k's

Hopefully the signatures on here will roll over after midnight....

I updated, but it thinks I have already done 5000km, how do I remove it. :?
