No GPS so presumably i can't use Strava/bikejournal? Last year i wrote out all my rides by hand (until about May when i forgot a week or two and gave up) this year i'll get my very talented gf to make up a spreadsheet to make it simpler. So far i've had a very tough 83k ride today, and rode 10k to the shops late last night so i could say i rode on the first day of the year :) . If all goes according to plan, another 50k tomorrow.

Apple - have you seen this from Breezer? It worked for me :) You have to put yesterday's ride in and let it update at midday if you haven't already. Good luck!

Both Strava and Bikejournal allow you to add rides manually so you can use them.

I'd love to join you guys/ gals, but my training is power based not km's

Kilometers are kept to a minimum although the intensity is generally high or specific.

We need to start a power goal club for the year & some how link a green slide bar to WKO training peaks.

If you've not used or seen the WKO set up it logs your peak power over set durations. eg- 5 sec--1000w, 10 sec--800w, 20 minutes 250w. (not my actual figures, just an example)
Gas propulsion.......it's natural don't fight it.

Was a nice ride to. Smashed out a couple of KOMs coming home which meant I had to hobble up the steps to get in the house. :)

just back from holidays, think I've put on a couple of kgs just from not riding for a couple of weeks.... it's crazy.

Anyway, started with a 30k on new year's day, 8k to a friend's place for a BBQ, then my commute to work today. Exciting. :)

Slow start for me as I'm not at work for a couple of weeks and now I'm sick. Looks like I'll be playing catch up for a while at this rate. Also have to get better so I can do some bike servicing before I'm relying on the bike to get to work every day.

Decided to give Strava a go.

Maybe one of the South Coast mountain goats can explain how to load the map without going to Garmin.

I don't think you can embed the maps from strava to show in your post on here. Only links. Unless you print screen and post an image.
