Good to hear you're back on the bike Dave.

Glad you're back on the bike Dave, and speaking from experience, once you make up your mind, the red arrow is very catchable :)

It's only a mornings ride away! Though maybe not tomorrow morning if the weather forecast is anything to go by :)

Job done! Went for a spin up and down the Sunshine Coast this morning and flew past my 4000 mile goal. A few hill repeats this arvo and i'm now at nearly 6500k, should be well over 7000 by the end of the year :D .

With all this talk of arrows it looks like mine may soon take some catching as well. Upped my target to 8000 for the year, comfortably surpassing my previous best of 7409.23 from last year. Now I look like having at least couple of days off the bike while I try and fight off a cold before chasing the triangle down again. Time off work between Christmas and New Year should let me do whatever last minute catching is needed though.

I hadn't realised that I had not posted my last logged radings. It is lookign alot more attractive now and I am back under the 900 spot too.

I ordered a u-beaut AIr Saddle online last night. Hopefully it will make my rides more comfortable (some riders find them not to their liking) as I'd like to continue with the current riding pattern but I am starting to have some sit-bone and chaffign issues.

I figure I should be on the list of those who should have one. Perhaps I won't need to keep on stopping to adjust the squiggly bits in public so much.

I have added 1500km to my target distance in my Bike Journal profile.

Is there anything else that I have to do to give effect to this on my sig/status bar? Or does it just automatically flow thru to here?

Passed my original goal of 6,500 today, and there's still a week of November to go. 6,999 is looking pretty good from here, should be able to get there by mid December. Last year I got to just under 6,900, over 7,000 this year would be good.

Well I ground out my 25th Century of the year this morning.

The goals were to not stop, and try and average over 28kph.

Oh well, one out of 2 isn't bad. I did have 2 very short stops. One to adjust my helmet strap after 12kms. And one at about 85 for road works.

Nice going Norbs. Not stopping for 100k is quite a hard thing to do, both physically and logistically.

You should come to Brisbane in October and do the B2CG ride, in the earlier waves it's possible to do the whole 100ks without a stop!

Nice ride norbs. I haven't been on the bike much this week.

I think I snapped a bone spur off my elbow on Saturday and it's floating around in there somewhere. Makes it hard to stand up and pedal.

I rode 14kms on the MTB this arvo and killed everytime I had to lift up the front of the bike to go over a log.

Good on you Roller - congratulations. I'm in the might (maybe) category - thanks :-)

Good work to all our goal achievers, my little red mongrel has well and truly skipped away.......

Realised this morning my front tyre has seen active duty on two bikes and nearly 20,000km. If it wasn't for the two massive splits right across the centre of the tread I reckon it'd have another couple thousand left in it.

5 weeks left @lovemybike, doable for sure, @cardy george, there's always next year.

I kicked off my training for the Alpine classic this morning, met up with an old audax friend and did a repeat on Macquarie Pass. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but it was a great ride, and I even managed to set a new PR and a second best time on the full ascent, plus a PR on the descent - perfect run, no traffic to slow us down. I've always been a reluctant climber, though just lately I'm finding it really enjoyable.

I headed out early this morning to do my pre-summer fitness test on the CuBeCyCl ITT course. Wasn't expecting anything special, so was pleasantly surprised to beat my best time and knock off Dave for the KOM.

I am 1kg lighter than I was in December last year, so I am hoping to drop another few seconds off before summer ends.

I am 1kg lighter not long after I have read the paper and had a cup of tea every morning 8)

I did my usual luncheon ride with the guys at work today, and as I have a 200 planned for Saturday I was intending to take it easy for the remainder of the month. Though having just loaded the ride data to strava I see I've got 764km and 9809m for November, so I'm going to have to do a milkrun later in the week to make it up to 800km and 10,000m.

I think I've now got stravaspergers syndrome.
