Great work Todd.
Thanks Dave, I have been looking but they use the most hard to read print for the authors name...even with my glasses on Norb's I'll be back with my choice soon!

I asked the guy at the bike hire about riding along the beach. he said it was OK. He puts the gurney on the bikes at the end of the day. May explain the grinding noise in the back hub in the bike I hired on the second day. Would you believe I adjusted the seat 3 times out riding and then I noticed an 'S' on the frame? I keep telling myself it was short for Specialised but i know it was 'small'. Everyone (except you) will love the cycling there it is so flat. Given my time over I would have gone snorkelling twice (Calypso). For someone who hasn't seen all that coral or the colours of the fish it was awesome. Graham

Got it and read your article Norbs, well done on getting published!
Which one did you like the best? .
Just found a typo in the first one Favourite line: ' the usual scandal throws the brown stuff into the revolving air displacement device.' I liked both articles, the first one has more of your humor injected into it. Well done on both articles.

Hi DaveOz, we took our road bikes up to Port Douglas in May. If you want some hills, this is a lovely ride. Did it with a mate from home that we ran into on the first day (had to convince Mrs C+W to go off and have a massage instead). The other days we did this really nice 52km loopBest coffee is from the Bookshop in the main St (McCrossen). For dinner, must go to Salsa Bar and Grill. Have a great time!
Merida 903 from the LBS-nothing fancy... but you haven't seen me ride (nothing fancy)

Thanks Lisa. Glad you liked them. The Twitter one was a hell of an article to edit down. It was nearly 50% bigger. Was the typo in the article or the Tweets?

It's very minor paragraph 5 on page 82 where you are explaining what twitter is limited to 140 characters of less.... As I said very minor. I would imagine that a three week race generates heaps of twitter feeds to sort through.

Forgot to share some upgrade news with y'all A few weeks ago Mr MM found a crack in the frame of his Fondreist TF2...in the same week his Zipps sh@t themselves, so not a good week... Anyhoo the frame is getting replaced but of course Mr MM is looking to get an up-graded frame, the TF Zero! Bike shop says no go gotta replace same with same, fair enough, so we've done a deal so I will get the new frame, which will have the original forks, and the running gear etc will be taken off Scotty an onto the Fondy and all the gear will come off the cracked frame and go on the Zero frame. Just have to wait for the replacement frame to arrive....just a little bit excited! Edit, FYI, the Zipps got completely replaced too, Mr MM had a 303/404 set now he has a 404 set, can't complain about that!

Hit 5,000KM today, well ahead of the dreaded red arrow. Looking good for at least 6,500 this year. Also managed to make it into the top 1,100 on Bike Journal although I suspect that is long gone now. Weather's getting better, days will be longer than nights after Sunday. Time to rack up a few more KMs, when daylight saving returns a slightly longer trip home means a few extra KMs too. I can't believe I'm doing >6,000km a year for 2 years running.

I am just about to roll over 7000 for the year. I did Norton Summit today. The Garmin crapped itself so I need to find a way to get good data off it.

Oh the questions!! Old road or New road? What did you think? Which way did you come back down? I liked the old road the best, with the kick up at the end past the pub a great heart test.
