Ran over a whole bunch of what looked like plastic grille pieces from a end-to-end accident today. Knew it was going to be a bad thing, and sure enough within 2 km the rear was getting soft.

New total = 9 (at) 409km per flat.

The front tyre unseated this morning. I managed to stop and let the tyre down before the enviable

Front again. This time it was caused by a split in the tyre liner. I'm also completely out of spare tubes so will patch some. Last week I put a new rim tape on the front wheel. This week I'll put a new tyre and tyre liner.

Not that I'm expecting the puncture fairy to go away...

Passed an auto accident this morning. The road was wet and I did'nt see the glass. Sure enough 200 metres down the road the front tyre deflates.

Time to join this thread for 2012.

Got to my bike to ride home from work - flat front tyre. That's a total of 1 for the year.

Can't complain though. I've done 15,000Kms on the bike and still on my second front tyre. I think it has done about 9,000Km and still has tread. Schwable Delta Cruiser, great tyre. I have some Marathon Supremes to go on when the tyres run out of tread.

I've been having a good run lately. I got some maxis refuse and have been digging out the glass before it gets the tube . Anyway got a new bike a couple of weeks ago and it has rubino vittoria pro's. So with my 3times a week ritual of digging out glass with a knife mind you, I got a small shard of a Brown stubbie bottle out found another cut, dug into that and couldn't get anything out, dug further and PSSSSSHHH. (DOH) First flat in about 2 months. +1 Total =7

Found a staple in my tyre 5 minutes into my commute. Was able to change tube and get to work more or less on time.

Kept the staple as a sort of trophy. It's a bit like Stalin keeping Hitler's skull on his desk (apparently).

Cant ever really see sealant in a tube working very well due to the thickness or lack thereof with a tube. The thickness of the rubber of the tyre case is what allows the sealant to work properly.

+1 on the front. Had to change it in miserable, cold, wet Melbourne weather. New tyres are on, so hopefully I won't be seen here for a while.

Got this two inch nail through my rear tyre a couple of weeks ago, it went through and out the other side!
One yesterday and another at 6am this morning on my way to a club ride makes it 9 for me this year.

After about 5,000KM I got my first punture with the Schwable Marathon Plus on the rear wheel. Can't really complain. Bit of glass through the tyre at Elwood Beach. Walked it home rather than fix in the dark. Was thinking of replacing the tyre as it has done a lot of KMs but there is life in it yet so it is staying on. I have a couple of Marathon Supremes to go on when the current tyres go.

That's 2 for the year for me.

Had zero punctures for the year leading up to last week. Seems the bike fairies finally caught up on some paper work and got around to me. Managed 4 for the week. With the last one being a epic puncture caused when my rear mech decided it wished to visit my spokes.
