Just another empty-headed self-centred monomaniac sports star suffering adulation withdrawal.

Ditto the sentiments about his credibility with life advice.

He should take up Beach Road cycling himself (he lives in Bray-ton, dahling!).

He won't need lights on his bike. Those teeth! That skin!

I'm a Warney fan but he can be a tool at times. In his defence those sentiments in his Tweet are probably held by well over half of the population, personally I wouldn't have even bothered highlighting them and giving them further publicity.

I would go on there and tear him a new one, but i refuse to join twitter. Hopefully someone will educate him on the road rules, as a celebrity i think he has a responsibility not to marginalise particular groups (lawsuit anyone?).

He's been at it again today... time to unfollow methinks. Not worth the frustration.

I’ve been drinking and I’m full of booze and bad manners.

I started reading the tweets and I’m fuming and thinking about getting in a rumble on there. But the rule about "arguing with a fool make sure they aren’t doing the same” does click in here

Really? If I were shafted by Warnie I’d call him out at a media conference.

Hell, I’d hold an award ceremony for being the greatest bloke ever (he’d fall for it) with media in tow (legit non-violence tactic)

Never take advice from people who have never done what they’re writing (or talking) about.
I'm pretty sure that with all of his experince there has been situations where his rides weren't lined up in single file?

If your a bridge builder and you write one stupid tweet. It dosn't matter how many bridges you build you will always be a twit.

Went around 2 riders riding abreast yesterday and was greeted with "Hi ****head" after sitting behind them for 500m at a slower pace than I normally ride. I gotta say there is a few experiences ive had on weekend rides where I agree with Warney.

It's possible from their viewpoint they believed you were drafting without asking, Danny. Their language didn't help things, though!

Put him in the bucket with Rex Hunt. I was a bit of a fan of Warney; not so much now.

Maybe there is a place for a thread listing “celebrities” that are anti-cyclist?

It’d make for a good reference for the future.

I mean, I never knew that Magda whateverherlastnameis advocated dooring cyclists.
