Sport celebrity status + Ego = bad juju.

Sanitised rednecks that the great unwashed "can relate to" and love...

You can't draft without asking? Harden up ladies, and ride faster so people aren't catching you. To be sworn at because of that? Wow. Don't give me that, it's REALLY hard to catch up to me after I bump you off the path.

Either way, Warne is one of the most !! BAN ME NOW FOR SWEARING !! males to ever come out of Victoria. If he could understand how his !!! spammer !!! is supposed to behave with a wife and kids at home, I would have some interest in his opinion about ... well... anything. He's a 10 year old with a fat pubgut, a personal trainer/liposuction surgeon and a big bank balance for throwing a ball towards something. How humiliating to think we should pay any attention to him at all. Why is the OP following this dribbler anyway? Hmmm? :|

Can't help but agree.... "following" these superstar gits on FB/Twitter/Myspace/whatever seems a waste of time - I'm not really sure why anyone would care that a particular celeb wannabe was in a particular shop, eating a muffin or whatever..... If celeb "x" posted that they sneezed and scratched their nuts together at the same time, it wouldn't change my day.....

Opinions - like a$$holes - everyone has one, and they usually don't smell like roses.....

I posted what he said on Facebook and that turned into a 30 comment string arguing with people who think we should pay rego and ride on the footpath.. I'm thinking of logging all my waiting time for a week such as queues in supermarkets, lunch shop, other road users holding me up etc and post weekly on facebook the comparison against how many bike riders have held me up. I never realised how many people I thought were a bit smart have zero clue about the subject... My business partner thought it was illegal to ride 2 abreast in QLD... God I hope his knowledge of scaffolding legislation is better than his knowledge of the road rules...

Ps actually if you are going to ride on the roads you should pay rego and have a number plate, only fair Once again, single file please !!!!
I've always felt that Warnie was a national disgrace, then when he hooked up with Liz Hurley - well you just can't help but respect that. Who knows what she would see in him but anyway, nice work.

Now though Warnie - you've lost that tiny bit of respect! Leave the cyclists alone, and while you're at it - put your wanger away.

Shane who?

Didn't he used to be a footballer?

Isn't Liz Hurley going out with someone called Shane?

Maybe we'll see him soon on 'I'm a Celebrity, Get me out of here'.

This is awesome... it really does highlight the fact that many people don't really want to be a part of society... why would you either, when you've got brain scientists like Warne and Hurley being treated as "celebrities".

One comment for the you should pay rego and have a number plate brigade is if they can successfully lobby the the government to do it, no problem I'll pay it, it'll never happen though. Always thought Warnie was a tool, now its a confirmed FACT.

"It is a serious issue , please govt cn you do something about this situation, surely we can all get along unfortunately its 1 or 2 bike riders out there that are ruining it for everyone.

Can we crack down on them and change the law please its to dangerous and for that matter can we please all get along on the road its everyones.

Just be sensible and not stupid bike riders, your going to cause a riot soon, please lets not wait till something serious happens, do something now"

Shane "drama queen/anti bike rider" Warne

He has a tweet today that he hit a cyclists tyre with his car :x

Twitter and other social media would make a nice honey trap to get a list of anti-cyclists. That list could then be made available to cyclists in the event of an accident to demonstrate pre-meditation or something along those lines anyway especially if they say something advocating violence.

I wonder if some one could make a case out of Warnes tweets over the past couple of days that he may have deliberately hit a cyclist.

Didn't he trash a near new supercar of some kind a few years back?

Not taking advice on road use from someone who has less of a clue than me.

Shaaaaaayne ol' son, I hear FatCat is looking for a new driving gig, why not get onto him via your mates at Current Tonight?

I am afraid I am in the camp that agrees that Warne should be annoyed with the cyclist, assuming his version of events is true.

Say What was the cyclist doing touching his car?

WT? was the cyclist doing touching his car?
Probably relates to the tweets Warne sent a few days ago - he set out to upset cyclists and he got his wish..........

IF his version is correct then the cyclist does need some education, you should NEVER touch a car (after all, would you be ok with someone reaching out of a car and touching your bike?). Doesn't in any way excuse hitting the bike with his car though.
