Hypoglycaemic? I'm not surprised after 720km. Quick, eat a biscuit :)

The code still works. I've been meaning to buy a month of premium member just to check out what extra you get. Thanks a lot arkle!

toolonglegs - you can upload older rides to see how they compare.

Cheers,

I read in an article this morning - an interview with the Strava founder - Strava is not yet profitable.

I'm about to sign up for premium because I recently used the 'support' service and got excellent service in good time too. May as well keep it going.

All the more reason to give out promo codes for free trials! If you don't know what you're mission out on, you're not going to be rushing to sign up. I have been considering it, but yet to decide if it's worth while.

I'll happily pay for it if they can get rid of all the duplicate segments and ridiculous ones like a lap around a toilet block and elevation errors where a flat section of road comes up as a 20% hill.

That's why I'm a premium member. The additional benefits aren't that amazing. I like the suffer score though, but it's just a bit of fun.

It's not that expensive from memory. They don't run adds and if the revenue doesn't come from somewhere they'll disappear. Some similar sites run adds for free members and not for premium which makes sense but I'm glad Strava doesn't and so I'm happy to support them.

I should really pay for it, love that site.

I also wouldn't mind a bit if they had annoying ads on there for free members either. I think those of us that don't pay should get a little pain for such a good resource.

I just signed up. It's helping me stay motivated and that's easily worth $6/m
