Thank you! The full video was great to get a better understanding of what happened. The media has only shown a shorter clip and much lower quality.fingy wrote:Scary high speed crash

Just minor stuff from what i've heard. Astonishing how high the bike went, it just catapulted straight up!Biffidus wrote:Scary stuff! Was the rider ok?

After editing cycling videos recorded in the Alps, now I edited a compilation video about my bicycle tour In Andalucia (year 2012) with cycling up to Pico Veleta (3396 m), Tetica da Bacares (2080 m), Puerto Ragua (2000 m), Puerto Escúllar (2036 m), cycling along the coast + through Tabernas desert... etc.
This is the 1st part with english subtitles
The route - this part shows - was: Malaga - Puerto del Leon (view) - Almunecar - Mirador Cabra Montes (view) - Motril - Haza del Lino (Veleta panorama) - Motril - Granada - Pico Veleta - Granada
Have pleasure with the video !
Best regards, Gabor -

THis video is about one of the epic / killer / monster paved climbs of the Alps and Europe that goes above 2000 m.
Based on the data of salite.ch and climbbybike.com Ausserfragant - Grosser Oschenuiksee (2394 m) is the hardest or 2nd hardest paved ascents of the Alps (of the wide dartabase schmunzel ), harder than Monte Zoncolan or Angliru (in Spain).
Its data: 17 km & 9,8%, but the last 10 kms = 13% steepness, but often 14-15% and max. 18-20% (you can see it in my video )
That's a very hard and challenging climb, but I loved it !
Have pleasure with the video !
Gabor

The bikes seem more utilitarian than race orientated.
