Yeah would have been a disaster.

So was the road actually open during this race, or did a 4wd towing a boat just somehow manage to get past checkpoints?

OK so it's not exactly cycling related but it's very funny. Bill Dance has been presenting a fishing programme for more than 35 years, but he's the most accident-prone presenter ever to make it onto the airwaves.

my "bike light" thats not a bike light, its a 4wd led light bar and domestic led down light globes. Have added a 4000lm bike specific bike light.

That is what gives cyclists a bad name, that guy is a #$(AT)%wit. He gets out uninjured and those that are doing the right thing get injured its ridiculous.
