Just found this thread - wow.

I have over 5,500km up on my 2011 Kona Honky Inc and only drama so far was a broken spoke which CE promptly fixed with no fuss.

Only thing I don't like about the wheelset with the bike is that it is HEAVY !!!

Waiting on some new hubs to build up with some CM hubs and bladed spokes. Will be a shade over 1kg lighter :D

Glad you got it sorted in the end - but you were more patient than i would have been !!!

4,000km later, my Deore XT hub is just as smooth as when I rebuilt my wheel with it.
I need to get a couple of cone spanners to check the bearings, but there are no signs of an issue.
My road bike has Shimano hubs and it has done 8,000km without any problems, and the same hubs on my old hybrid wheelset have done 17,000km without any servicing and they are fine as well.
