Brisbane Road Bike Hire

Hi all,

I've got a mate coming out from the UK for a couple weeks in mid-November; he's a super fit duathlete and is looking to hire a decent road bike to get around with and keep up the training. He'll be staying out at Wynnum.

At the moment he's found Chain Gang in Seventeen Mile Rocks hire Fondriests, are there any other stores or places that hire high end road bikes? A CityCycle isn't really going to cut it (although climbing Mt Cootha on one would sure help keep the fitness levels high).

I saw recently on the Bike Obession facebook page http://www.facebook.com/bikeobsession that are providing a bike hire service too now. I think the Cannondale CAAD8s are one of the options.

Yep, Bike Obsession are hiring bikes, $50/day tho, tad more than the $20/day for the Fondriest at ChainGang, but Chaingang do charge $99 for a fitting first.
