Cycling Tan lines

I'm curious to know how other cyclists deal with having the most well defined tan lines known to man. With summer approaching do you avoid showing them to the world or do you wear them as a badge of cycling honour.

This what my arm currently looks like, note the three shades.

You don't have a tan line for the gloves. That's just not good enough!

I do, must be the flouro lights in my office. Have some Rapha Grand tour gloves i haven't committed to wearing full time yet, they'd give me an impressive hand tan.

Badge of honour.

I get many customers at work asking me what my other job is because of my white hands and tanned arms. Some one once asked if I was one of the blokes that directs cranes when they're lifting loads or holds the ropes on the loads, because those blokes always wear gloves.

I know of the rules, decided to leave it out of my original post as it always seems to bring with it a conversation of how some hate them going out of there way to break them and others think they are good or a bit of fun.

I would refer any person in the abovementioned category to refer to rules 1 through to 3 (inclusive)

Badge of honour here.

After 5 weeks in the outback, I have several shades on my arms (tanned lower arms, white hands) and below the tanned legs there is the Keen sandals tan :P

With honour.

In fact I refuse to try other brands of bibs/jerseys just because the current items already leave a perfect tan line

I actually have more tan lines as well as I have little hair...
Tan line from sunglasses, helmet straps and bandanna. Over summer I get dubbed the airstrip as I have a white wide strip on my neck from my bandana.

Ah, yes. Helmets, in summer, with vents. A balding head. I get the helmet tan if I don't wear a bandanna - looks like the GT stripes

Not mine, but you get the idea

Combined with my sailing wetsuit shorts which are the same length as bibs, the only answer is wear it with pride.

I'm already starting to get the tan line thing happening. It's a bit strange, but then I can say, it's how much I ride the bike.
