Hi all,
I bought a Garmin 500 two, maybe three weeks ago now and over the last week the enter/menu button has developed a tendency not to work. 90% of the time no work, 10% work.
I've emailed the seller where I bought it from (Highly Tuned Athletes) and they are happy to check the unit out and replace if they can replicate the issue. I'm sure it will be resolved with the seller as they seem to have A1 customer service from my dealings so far.
But a question. Is this sort of thing common with the 500's?
Thanks all.

Ive had the exact same thing, except the start/stop button. Ive sent back for a replacement. Must be somewhat common.

Have been using mine regularly for about 3-4 months now and no problems. Very happy with it.

Mine does it to... Enter button. Doesn't work about 20% of the time. Not enough to bother doing anything with.

Mine went from working every single time, to only working when you pressed it a certain way, to not working at all in the space of about 5 days (4 commutes, 1 x 100km ride).
Needless to say it went back to HTA yesterday.
I'd suggest if others are experiencing similar issues to nip it in the bud, it'd be pretty crappy for it to stop working completely when you're out of warranty. That would be pretty average.

Just got an email from HTA saying they've sent me a parcel so I can only assume I've got a new one on the way. Good stuff, prompt end to the issue.

Garmin arrived today. So that took 3 business days to have it sorted out. Very, very happy, highly recommend HTA.
