Coincidentally, 1 of my degrees was in Economics.

I may have a fairly low opinion of economists but I also think economists have more than a very basic grasp of English grammar. It would be a start if that guy could actually string a sensible sentence together and possibly do something about his spelling.biker jk wrote:There's no way he's an economist given the absence of any understanding of the significant negative externalities created by motorists. Moreover, if he were really an economist he would be calling for the introduction of congestion charges for motor vehicles.

What sense I could make out of the incoherent drivel, my immediate thought was troll... Probably still at school... I am yet to be convinced otherwise.

Is it just me, or did anyone else get a mental picture of all these cyclists riding around waving their fists and yelling? hee hee.InTheWoods wrote:Yeh every time I go on the road, all I see is most cyclists raging everywhere, really its like a scene from 28 Days Later, and well i also admit that majority of cyclist do have a bad rage habit
I did laugh at what's his name saying it's ok that his wife nearly hit someone because he was in her blind spot. My missus has a bad habit of not looking around her pillar and suffering from pillar blindness. I keep pulling her up on it as she doesn't look around the pillar, it's a one second exercise that takes no effort. Considering they acknowledge the problem but do nothing about it annoys the s**t out of me. At one point, when my missus nearly hit someone in a roundabout, I just got out and walked the 10km home, if you're not going to drive properly, you're putting myself and everyone else at risk.

haha, yes it was. She started taking the piss out of me, making fun of how serious I was about what she was doing, which annoyed the !! BAN ME NOW FOR SWEARING !! out of me because of all the near misses I'd had from people doing exactly the same thing. Her view changed afterwards when I started showing her all the footage I had..Summernight wrote:That would have made for a 'fun' reunion at the other end...FuzzyDropbear wrote:At one point, when my missus nearly hit someone in a roundabout, I just got out and walked the 10km home, if you're not going to drive properly, you're putting myself and everyone else at risk.

Good thing was, we live in different houses, so I walked home, straight into the garage, turned the phone off, poured a beer from the kegerator and started working on the car So didn't get in trouble until I turned the phone back on.
