I pride myself on having pretty good bike handling skills and shouldn't have fallen if not for the rock.
One of those downhill turns where you take it more cautiously the second time, because you know how tricky it is, too cautiously that you fail.
The good: Soft landing and no damage to me
The bad: Couldn't clip-out, cleats were stuck and there were 5 MTBers closer behind.
The consequence: Back at the bike hire, the guys grabbed my memory card, put it on their Ipad and watched it over and over again.
