I have just commenced a new job and can see that I will have less time to ride before work now...
Very happy with the buffer that I've managed to gain on the target to date however now I may have to settle for quality rides over getting lots of k's done

Probably wont have time for that now, I'll be back to my old routine of riding in Logan rd and back out via Boggo Rd and a hot lap up Mt Gravatt on the way home or just repeats on Mt G!

Thank goodness for Hallowed Grounds (AT) Mt Gravatt for a decent coffee, thank goodness for a decent coffee spot so close to Mt G

Not really, doing 20k kms every year is starting to be detrimental to my fast rides.

Re 20,000 Kudos I reckon I'll need another 12 months

Just upped my goals to 14.6Mm (40km/day) and 182.5km elev gain (500m/day). The distance is going to be a challenge. Gone from 780km ahead to 940km behind...

Well, my bid to ride 12,000 k this year is over...

Was racing yesterday and got taken out...I have a fracture in my radius, 2 in my collar bone and one in my T1 vertebrae, concussion and soft tissue injuries..

Was on the sprint lap, with 2-300 meters to go, it was reported that one rider swung out taking out a rider from Logan club, I had nowhere else to go but over her bike....two others got caught up as well, sounds like I got the worst of the injuries...

That is my year over and out.....

sorry to hear that Lisa. take the opportunity to rest up. it angers me when people don't sprint straight - it ain't rocket science! i've seen too many incidents from that kind of manouvre.

Thanks yep I was prepared for some riders not holding their line and was riding wide to prevent this, it all happened in the blink of an eye and didn't have time to check to see if it was clear on my left to swing out to avoid the other bike, I had no option but to go over the top of the bike.

I think that the rider who caused all this was on a three day licence...
