I have been watching videos and talking to different people about their biomechanics on their bike. For example, when you are seated on your bike, cranks are parallel with the floor, does your ball of your foot line up with the axle on your pedal? If not how far away is your centre of your pedal in regard to your ball of the foot? Does 5mm out make abig difference? What really is the "perfect" fit. Now I am not world class in cycling but how far do you really go? Does this attribute to the quads working more? Is this why people get sore below the knee(patella) because the quads are working more and getting tight which results in a sore patellel or ITB?
What are your thoughts?
Thanks
Wal
