I thought one of the main reason for changing the API was privacy... I could mark myself and rides as private or request to follow, but if someone plugged my strava number into veloviewer etc they could bypass everything.

Nice to see you and your group...oops on the chucking up though, it is a tough section through there to the first lookout...I'm always relieved to get the section done!
Great morning for a run up to Glorious.

I'm sitting at about 158,000. Weather forcast for this weekend is apocalyptic though, meant to be racing Sunday, plenty of HTFU will be needed.

I hit my climbing target for the year this morning....may not be much compared to some, but given the lack of serious hills close by me...I think I have done ok so far...just call me a tortoise...slow and steady

After two weeks of no riding (at all) and three weeks before that of limited riding due to a torn quad, I'm baaack. Well sorta back, no tough climbing but I can ride to and from work.

Just hit 141,000 this morning.

Return commute is just over 500m so even though I'm not doing any challenging climbs I will keep nudging my elevation upwards. Still hoping to hit 200k for the year.

Strava decided today to downgrade my "biggest climb" stat to 54m. Previously it was mt beauty to falls ck. Turns out the segment they've (seemingly randomly) chosen is actually downhill and should be 0 or -54m. Hmmm..

Time is a bit tight and I'm not really a web guy to set up something like statmonkey's page, but anyone who's really keen is welcome to PM me their strava id + goal and I'll set up an image like my sig. It would scrape stats from the strava athlete page and update once a day. Not as good as the old API but hopefully workable.

Has anybody emailed veloviewer and asked about a goal bar for the signature? I'm sure it's well within his abilities.

This. Plus manually entered targets alongside. In typewriter font for nostalgia's sake.

Congrats man - that's a solid effort, and an amazing ride. Love the fact you can just clip in and forget the rest of the world exists (except when cars scream by).

I've just left a comment here: http://blog.veloviewer is broken/contact/#comment-1030512989

It might help if those that would also like this leave comments too?
