Not many crocks down this way so we don't have to worry about that unlike our flooded friends up north. Although there were "apparently" shark sightings around Goodna/Oxley or something...Crawf wrote:It'll take more than thatgretaboy wrote:be a shame if Brisbane floods again and you blokes are house bound for a few weeks

But the last 40 miles were in the last 2 weeks due to my gimpy back going into "lockdown", it's been 20 times harder than real world riding due to the nerve pain and muscle spasms in my left side
It is improving so might try a short real world ride on Saturday !

Well done gretaboy!gretaboy wrote:Got the 1000 mile badge this morning...I am chuffed because all miles are commute miles, no weekend rides nor indoor trainers
I've got work to do to make 600miles by month end. My bike has been off the road for a few days and I don't have a backup, plus I got 3 days out next week due to an early morning training course... Hopefully I can get some decent rides in on Sunday and Monday.

from bom:
Heavy rainfall which may lead to flash flooding is likely over the Capricornia, Wide Bay and Burnett, eastern parts of the Central Highlands and Coalfields, and northern parts of the Southeast Coast district, possibly reaching areas north of Brisbane late in the day. Areas between St Lawrence and Brisbane, and inland to about Emerald may be affected. Six hour rainfall accumulations of 100 to 200mm are possible.

Double the distance tomorrow to make up for it. Hopefully I'll get the 800 in a few days.

It's hurting me too you realise. I had a coot-tha-fest weekend planned. And I can't ride next weekend unless someone wants to look after a 4 year old (she's not really ready for coot-tha)BrisVegas wrote:geez you're a buzzkill jason.
