It's hurting me too you realise. I had a coot-tha-fest weekend planned. And I can't ride next weekend unless someone wants to look after a 4 year old (she's not really ready for coot-tha)
I was meant to be riding to Byron on Sunday...and racing tomorrow but that's just been canceled now!

Summer in Brisbane

Won't be much happening this weekend either :(
Can't even take out the CX Disc bike in this crappy weather due to shot bearings.
To take the all carbon roadie out in the wet or not?

The rain's not so much of a problem but I think if I tried riding I'd get blown off the bike. I knew I should have bought an indoor trainer. What a time to have brand new wheels <sigh> I think I can still get the 800 even if the weather stays like this for a few more days but it is cutting it close.

At least my empty rain water tank is filling up :-)

Well done all, especially gretaboy for 1000 cummuter miles! Epic!

Tough ride this morning, seeking out elevation. One guy stuck to me so I tried to break him on a small 5% climb. I blew up near the top and he came back to me on the descent

I'm at 577 miles, wooh! That's just 37km for the 600 miles, but 70km for 1000km. This has been great motivation.

I see a South Aussie is in 2nd spot overall. Not far from the leader :!: And Jason is still 5th!!

I'm thinking of taking the rack off my commuter and heading out in the rain....22 miles in the rain and wind shouldn't been to hard, should it???

Weather looks like limiting my riding to 1200. Only got about 74 miles to go.

Done the 800 when I load some rides off the Garmin. Going to struggle to get to 1000 now as back at work. Bloody work getting in the way of life again.

Wow, there is no way I'm riding in this weather. My next door neighbour has just had two big trees blown down. I can't imagine being able to stay upright on a bicycle. I wanted rain but this can now stop please!

Pussies. Get out there. It's beautiful! Just avoid the cross winds in the city. Went flying across two lanes and into a driveway hahaha.

Send some of that water down our way. No rain for 10 weeks, it's as dry as a chip.
Dorothea Mackellar was right.

Finally cracked 400mi - the 5 days off the bike hurt, but I've got 4 more days to try and hit 500 at least.

cheers

At least get to 400! That will be a great achievement.

Completed 600 miles today, ticked over 1000km also 8)
