Received my 600 mile badge this morning! I think 800 might be doable! If the rain holds off and I digitus extractus I may even get a 1,000 mile.

I'm jealous that your miles are all commute. I commute 5 days a week all year round (have done for years)... but that adds up to 60km a week! Pathetic!

I'm on track to get 600m tomorrow and will hit 800m before the end of the month.
thanks, and some days I wish I had a shorter commute. I normally only have a 4 day commute week so am trying to make the most of things at the moment. Last week was my first 5 day commute week ever.
I wish Strava did a climbing challenge!
I thought Strava do do climbing challenges. This article, http://www.outsideonline.com/fitness/bi ... l?page=all" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, had the following:

"Earlier this year, Strava issued a challenge sponsored by Specialized. “Riders,” went the pitch, “do you think you can climb the cumulative elevation of the five Spring Classics in 47 days?” The goal: 105,312 feet in a month and a half."

So there is hope for you yet

Strava did a couple last year, very few finished the Specialized, heaps finished the Rapha.

I'm only up to 120 miles. January was never going to be a good month for me to rack up the kms.

That said I am going to be riding a lot this weekend, heading to the TDU this Friday. Can't wait.

Gotta get some content for my new blog: velominatus.blogspot.com *shameless plug*

I received my 600 mile badge the other day. I'm hoping for the 800 soon. I doubt I'll manage to get the 1000 though.

The view from my rear GoPro, saddle mounted, was pretty funny this morning. Nothing but rain and water spraying up from the rear wheel :-)

Badges don't mean anything, just try and achieve your own personal goal.

Nah haven't been able to do any long rides for a while now, they've all been brief hit outs.
I might go crazy next week.
