Just got the 400 mile badge But the last 40 miles were in the last 2 weeks due to my gimpy back going into "lockdown", it's been 20 times harder than real world riding due to the nerve pain and muscle spasms in my left side It is improving so might try a short real world ride on Saturday ! I'm 20 miles short of the 600 badge and it looks like the heavens are about to spew forth! Should have gone to NZ this weekend instead of last one when the weather was fine!

Well done gretaboy! I've got work to do to make 600miles by month end. My bike has been off the road for a few days and I don't have a backup, plus I got 3 days out next week due to an early morning training course... Hopefully I can get some decent rides in on Sunday and Monday.

There was no way I was heading out this morning. I woke at 4:40am to gale force winds blowing torrential rain into the house. I looked at the trees swaying and decided it was time to have a day off this month Double the distance tomorrow to make up for it. Hopefully I'll get the 800 in a few days.

might have to start counting walking miles towards this. Tried to catch the bus home yesterday and spent 45 mintues in gridlock on Ann and George streets, before giving up and walking home. Brisbane just goes a little crazy when it rains. Caught the bus again this morning, but need to find a way to get back to the bike shop tonight before 6pm to collect my bike. Shank's pony most likely... Really need an n+1 bike.

It's hurting me too you realise. I had a coot-tha-fest weekend planned. And I can't ride next weekend unless someone wants to look after a 4 year old (she's not really ready for coot-tha)

I'm tempted to go out and buy one and hook my commuter ride up, old Dolce hasnt seen much action of late...I've been riding the TF2 home of an afternoon! Looking at the Sufferfest downloads as well...
