2 KOMs and missed another by 1 second thanks to a bimbling numpty in a Nissan X Trail which made me brake and then I had to overtake......

Boy the hamstrings hurt now though, stretching all afternoon......

Damn cars always getting in the way slowing cyclists down. Had a ute do it to me the other day, passed me on double white lines going into an epic descent around the first of two corners, so of course I had to brake the whole descent to avoid ending up in his tray.

The look on his face in the rear view mirror was pretty funny - I guess plenty of motorists do not realise bikes can fly through corners.

Good job on the miles people! I will hit the 400 miles tomorrow, right knee is starting to show some tendonitis - I'll rest it in February! lol

Put in a big turn today to see what I could do for the months total. Managed to achieve a long time goal of doing 150km in under 5 hours. Did it quite comfortably in the end and finished with 182 km

I'm hoping to get 200 miles. I'm currently at about 180km for the month. I usually do 180km a week, so should be easy enough.

I'm back at work now, so less opportunity to get in the longer rides.

Yes the cool change is very welcome but now have almost gale force winds to contend with

I'm still sitting just inside the top 10 and very hopeful I can hang onto the top 50 by the end. Next few days will be tough in that wind though
