I reckon he will. But it will be a soft admission and he will say everyone else was doing it. The cancer card will be played and he will dictate terms. Don't expect any massive surprises. It is all about The Lance!

Re: [POLL] Will Lance Armstrong Admit to Doping?Just finished Tyler Hamilton's book "The Secret Race". An eye opener. Changed my opinion of everything.. Doesn't matter what Lance says, I don't believe him anyway
Re: [POLL] Will Lance Armstrong Admit to Doping?
Possibly, but when it is unnamed sources it is unconfirmed and speculation (not to mention PR to build up expectations and participation). I agree that it is likely and have put together a piece on BNA Will you be able to forgive Lance Armstrong? A flaw of this poll now is the extent to which there is an admission. Is there a satisfactory admission, likely not. Nor can we expect an admission to the extent of all accusations such as conspiracy. The way the PR... whoops I mean genuine reporting is building up we are led to believe that there will be some kind of admission. BNA Feature: E-Bike Buyers Guide App on Now iTunes

Re: [POLL] Will Lance Armstrong Admit to Doping?I wonder if Armstrong actually had cancer at all, or if it was a ruse to raise his profile and make his subsequent racing appear even more amazing.
I used to worship the guy and his feats but now I wouldn't p*ss on him if he was burning. There are only two types of cyclist.
Those that have crashed and those that are about to.
Re: [POLL] Will Lance Armstrong Admit to Doping?Are/will the Feds be going after him for profits fraudulently gained? Or a cyclist class-action lawsuit for defrauding them of wins/profits/sponsorship?
It irks me that he earned so much money and adulation that he doesn't deserve. His bank account should read $0. He should have nothing, a liar and fraud that ruined the rep of so many others so he could prosper.
Re: [POLL] Will Lance Armstrong Admit to Doping?
LOL! You make for a great conspiracy theorist (not). I am getting more interested in the interview. Most curious how good LA's PR people are. What techniques and spins are they going to use to dodge those bullets. Frank admission or not is not my interest. Bianchi, Ridley, Montague, GT, Garmin and All things Apple
Re: [POLL] Will Lance Armstrong Admit to Doping?
White collar crime. LA's earning and suffering caused is trivial compared to what happens on Wall St and the global financial market on a daily basis. Sub-prime is but one example and who took responsibility? That's America and the 21st Century. Yes, skinning target LA is the sport de jour at this point and both we and the media loves it. Re: [POLL] Will Lance Armstrong Admit to Doping?OK Here's my take on his interview.
Armstrong, if nothing else is smart and cunning. I honestly believe he will not only put his hand up for drug cheating, but will apologise for letting everyone down and be totally contrite. Not because he wants to, but he's smart enough to realise that if his admission is half hearted and twinged with self pity, he will only dig himself into a deeper and darker hole than he's already in. Essentially there's only one way out for him from here and he knows it. He will apologise to everyone unreservedly and attempt to show massive remorse in the hope that people might find a tad of compassion for him. Well, not this little black duck.... I say <language>. The whole exercise will have been carefully stage managed to extract the greatest amount of available sympathy. The truth is the only remorse the cheating <language> has is being caught. See if I'm not right when we see the interview. There are only two types of cyclist.
Those that have crashed and those that are about to.
Re: [POLL] Will Lance Armstrong Admit to Doping?
iMad I agree with most of what you are saying. In the most part he is smart (in a selfish way) but not looking after Floyd and Tyler after they'd served their suspensions was a massive mistake. If he'd have gotten those guys a gig on a cycling roster, Astana ? (or called in a favour with another team) then I think they'd have kept quiet. Leaving them out to fry with no financial/career prospects left them with little alternatives. ![]() FPR Ragamuffin
Re: [POLL] Will Lance Armstrong Admit to Doping? If this part transcript of the interview is correct (I hope not).. then Oprah is talking up a pointless interview and LA has moved on from EPO and is onto much harder drugs.

Re: [POLL] Will Lance Armstrong Admit to Doping?
That's awesome
Re: [POLL] Will Lance Armstrong Admit to Doping?
If that transcript is accurate, the bloke is insane... an imbecile... a fully fledged lunatic. Somehow I think the transcript is a hoax. It will be interesting to see. There are only two types of cyclist.

Re: [POLL] Will Lance Armstrong Admit to Doping?Haha gold. Of course its a joke
+1 to what iMad said a few posts back. ![]()

You're. Joking. Right.
Re: [POLL] Will Lance Armstrong Admit to Doping?
Got me good. I honestly thought it was supposed to be a genuine transcript. Oooops! There are only two types of cyclist.
