Chain Gang in Jindalee and Bike Obsession in the city centre have hire bikes you can take out for a day/weekend/week. By the way the more I look at it the more I have decided to move 1 level up to the Ultegra Di2 drivetrain
Otherwise most will have floor bikes they'll allow you to take out for a test ride, all you need do is ask (and probably leave your credit card...)
