Ordering a bike through wiggle.com.au and coupon vouchers

Postby revolver » Wed May 01, 2013 11:27 pm

Hi there...I want to buy a Boardman Hybrid Pro online at wiggle.com.au. I live in Sydney and just wanted to get some feedback on your experience ordering a bike online. I am aware of the delivery and taxes on bikes over $1000. Is there something else I should be aware of like warranty...Also almost all the bikes are on sale except the one I want. I've been looking everywhere for a discount voucher but they're all expired. Any ideas where I can find a decent discount voucher? Cheers

No it's not...I would prefer to buy from my LBS but they don't sell it here and this bike has such good specs at a great price point compared to what we have in Australia.

Actually I just found another recent thread regarding this topic viewtopic.php?f=9&t=63886&hilit=wiggle Some good advice there, just to add to this, there is a LBS shop in Sydney called Bike Brain who is affiliated with wiggle.com.uk and can use the shop as delivery address, assemble and set up the bike for me so I would be using my LBS in a round about way...I just need to buy it directly online. But I'm still searching for vouchers ...cheers

Goldcross Cycles are the official distributors of Boardman bikes in Australia. However, they are only based in Victoria and Queensland I believe. I understand that even if you purchased from overseas you will stiff have access to the Goldcross Cycles supported warranty in Australia.

Yes, both Wiggle and Goldcross Cycles have distribution rights to boardman bikes in Australia.

Wiggle have local partner shops inspme major cities to help with servicing and warranty issues and I am certain Goldcross Cycles will aim to be competitive.
