I've bought from RideLiketheWind and dominicj both posted with a short turnaround. Communication was excellent.

I've sold to two members with very few posts, a flag for caution, bacon and BradL, but no dramas.
Also sold to WyvernRH and would deal with again.

I have had no poor experiences on this forum. Names that I immediately remember are lunar_c, LG, Axeman74, Breezer1, Baalzamon, singlespeedscott, Velo13, Crawf, RobM and I'm not even scratching the surface. However I have to give a massive shout out to aussienick. Through no fault of his own he had some postage handling issues with an item I'd purchased. He went beyond the call of duty to resolve this, and even threw in a bonus t-shirt as some unnecessary, but highly appreciated compensation.

Always had great experiences, however now have an issue. A member expressed an interest in an item I was selling, asked a lot of back and forth questions then committed to buy.

Member said they would be going away for a couple of weeks so I suggested a deposit, they agreed and said they'd paid it :D

However no deposit was received, the person said it must have been held up by the building society..but nothing.

Then several further messages from me asking for an update, the person has stopped responding to my requests.

I had listed the item in several places, all of which I took down, and have waited for around three weeks in good faith.

Thought the person might be away and out of touch but then I see them posting on the forum

You'd think the person would have the decency to tell me straight if they changed their mind

You'll notice I haven't named the member, in a last hope they will do the right thing and contact me - even if only to confirm a change of mind and apologise. Being a trusting person I'm putting it down to an oversight and hope this is resolved.

If not, should I name the person and warn other members to approach with caution? Or just get on with selling the damn item again.

re list the item. you've tried to make contact, and by posting elsewhere they have had the opportunity to reply.

I thought the point was to name names. That's what this section is for. It helps to regulate people's behaviour when dealing with each other, knowing that they could get good or bad feedback here.

Thanks guys. . Mitchy I'm a Bit shocked that we have a serial offender...so I've check some old posts and this person has done this a few times. I didn't name the name in case the person wanted to get on touch and apologize. I now suspect the person may have even given me a false name who knows what we're dealing with. ... Hopefully he/she is reading this and might like to reassure members that he/she is safe to deal with because otherwise I agree a naming and shaming should occur for everyone's sake

For what it's worth, I bought a few Jerseys off of him and had no issues. Got them within 2 days. (Lardass71).

Just a special thanks to usernameforme and Antc0rp. Both gave me a great deal on wheels and went out of there to way to add cassettes and make them all ready to go so I didn't have to wait to get into my LBS which saved me time and money. Also arranged for discount delivery and easy pickup points so top marks fellas, I really appreciated it. Cheers Rod.
