Did you consider not signing for the package, as it was damaged?
I know it is tough to do when your new toy is inside...

All three of my bike frames have been purchased from overseas. All packed well and no problem whatsoever.
No question that 99% will be fine - problems are inevitable though, sadly, and it seems unreasonable to resolve the big ones internationally. I had a non disc brake baby seat delivered one day and it took a few weeks to resolve by refund. I will never use that uk website again, and will bag them to anyone who will listen!!! Yay Wiggle who haven't stressed me out.

Well finally had it all sorted. Frame picked up by courier and refund received from PBK. Long process but got there in the end.

Now I have to decide, do I get another frame, and if so which, or do I get a complete bike like the Boardman or something similar? Also considering a Chinese carbon CX frame though I really think I need rack mounts.

Another option I'm considering is keeping the flat bar, using my Merida 903 as a dry weather commuter and building a nice road bike for weekends and longer rides. Probably something around the Fm098 frame???

Too many decisions.

c r c have Ghost 9000 SE frames which have all the rack mount fittings. It is also set up for fully sheathed gear cables - I like that idea. Very well made frame.

My frame arrived in excellent shape except where the hanger poked out a bit and was scratched. c r c never did get back to me on that one. Their customer service seems to be going downhill. They are probably too big.

Lynskey Cooper CX Ti frame at c r c:

Absolutely bomb proof as an all weather commuter.

Match it with a Carbon Disc Fork:
