Just got one on the weekend (Hero3 Silver) and need to get a micro SD card. Any advice on size? One guy reckoned 16gb would last a battery charge, someone else said "at least" 32gb.
Anyone care to enlighten me further?

Also, battery life. I have been told battery life on the standard unit is 90 - 120 minutes. Is this about right?

Hi GM, I have the same, I have the 32gb and that gets me about 4 and a half hours (AT) 720. Battery life is about right, I ended up getting the add on battery back pack kit and find that I get at least 3 1/2 hrs non stop recording. I plan on getting a few more micro SD cards and back up batteries soon, am planning on doing the Great Victorian Bike Ride in Nov, so will have bit of a logistical problem then :-)

I bought a 32gb for convenience. I think there are problems with 64 otherwise I would have got one of those. That suits the scenario for me, where I sometimes ride to places where I can charge it but not offload a video I want to keep. I've never seen more than 90 minutes from a full charge at its preferred oddball 960p setting.

I bought the 64GB card. I've never filled it, even with about 14 hours of recording at 720 25FPS) :-) (BRTCC).
