I don't want to be all nationalistic but being Dutch and lived in Amsterdam I miss this so much here in Melbourne:)

Mate, don't worry about being nationalistic, if I lived in an area with a bike culture like that I would be telling everyone as well

Amazing cyclist crossings at 4:20-4:25
Great video to show how it can all work. Some of the interactions with cars bring back memories of Italy last spring/summer - reasonable, human, caring attention to fellow road-users.
Lovely Lucca - we stayed in the YHA right next to the Basilica San Frediano at 4:53

That music should be mandatory while driving your bike:)
I used to take that crossing twice a day. In the video its still quiet...try it when everybody is going to work.
