I very nearly joined you thanks to one car driver yesterday who decided it'd be fun to tailgate me coming up to a T junction, and then 10min later another one decided to do the MGIF trick in a narrow section. I'd rather forget about both incidents to be honest.trailgumby wrote:@g-boaf thanks for the well wishes. Feeling a bit less sore today although the pinky finger looks like it was transplanted off the Michelin Man. I'm planning on riding to work in the morning ... carefully.

Dr Google said take it off and throw in boiling water for 3-5 mins, then into ice water. It did firm it up, and 3 days later, still no movement.

At home, cleaned seatpost, new carbon paste, reinstalled, tightened saddle rail bolts, lubed ratchet mechanism in right shifter, replaced knackered right hood, lubed and cleaned chain.
Noise possibly still there. If so, possibly headset but also possibly wheel bearings Not BB as freewheeling doesn't fix it. Gah, I want a second bike with guards for when it rains!

Re-installed rear disc adaptor to SSMTB,
Fitted slick tyres to the 'ute' rigid MTB, and thought about putting new brake cables in (currently have park brakes, when you pull them on they stay until you push the levers back), didn't put new cables in as I'm considering new levers.
Fitted a new rear light to the commuter roadie,
Changed tyres on a 16" bike to sell off. Boys like skids.
Missed repairing the puncture on the fixie, got too late.

, this bike is kept at my workplace, so it needs to be clean. Glad you made it home safely. I am too worried riding alone thinking Cops will stop me for not wearing a helmet.isabella24 wrote: Cleaning?!! Already!!! I only just got home!!!!
