Well done Jason and to others in this thread. Amazing stuff. Would almost say inspiring but I don't want to over inflate your ego's. [emoji1]

I am stoked if I crack 800km. I dont manage many 1000km months. To do it for 2 years is pretty consistant.

Nah mate I think its a big deal, that type of consistency is awesome! Had a look back at mine and don't think i've dipped below 1187 k's in the last 20 months (pretty much the entire time i've been cycling proper)

Looks like i'm back on track this month with 1622 k's (5,953.8 k's for the year) with today to drag myself over 1650, maybe more. Starting to get that "oneness" with the bike again so onwards on upwards :)

Very impressive. :)

I've stalled at 5532km - bad weather and getting sick. I'm resting trying to fight off the virus as fast as possible.

My last month distance was 1268km according to TP. Well down on January where I had 1800km, but still good. :)

Passed the 7000km mark but have encountered a problem with the left knee cap.
A short ride this morning and there is still some soreness.
Another few days off the bike by the looks.

Big weekend of riding from Corryong to Canberra with 375km and 4600m enabled me to pass 6k today. The weather was absolutely perfect!

Keep up the good work all!

I have clocked up just over 5000km for the first 4 months so I am on target but a long way to go and the weekend riding is getting harder to do, or get time to do

That's what I am doing now, was aiming for 300km each work week and the weekend is a bonus but I am dropping a work day to jog now... On a different note my school drop off day is now Wednesday so Cootha is out now until school holidays... Damn those ex wives

Think I easily hit 10k, but to get up to 15k, takes a lot of effort... Further distances, or less rest days to get there...

I found it very hard, only lasted a month trying the 300km a week quota.. Is it just me, or is upping 200 to 300 km per week, considerably more difficult!!

Not too sure if upping from 200 to 300 is more difficult, but I do find that consistency is the key.

I set myself a target of 250Km/week and rarely dip beneath that, but do have some good weeks into the 300, 400 and a few 500+ weeks.

I ride whenever I am able to, however, do not fret if I have to drop a week due to illness - I'd rather get well again sooner.

Just keep going and you'll rack those miles up no problemo.

cheers
