Clever stuff rheicel.
Yep mine is an FSA topper, pretty rare to come by.
The Di2 battery is wrapped in padding and simply jammed down the seat tube with a pull loop attached.
It was designed to be as clean as possible with as little cabling visible as possible.

That seems to depend on the width of your screen. On my laptop I often miss the right hand side of larger photos but they show up fine on my desktop with a larger screen.

Nice collection BTW!

Cheers,
Simon.

Just completed this build last night. Moots Compact, DA9000 mech group, ENVE finishing kit, Deda bars, DA9000 C24's. Very nice ride indeed.

First ride was in a torrential downpour, as you would expect.

Since taking the photo I've fitted up a nice Romin Pro saddle... And just won a set of new Enve bars on ebay :D

Tis a great bike. It has so many strava KOMs and keeps taking the trophies. It even took a 4th place on the way home from work tonight with a bag full of junk slowing it down :P It just keeps going and going be it in the pouring rain or the stinking hot sunshine. The DuraAce and Ultegra components are all in their boxes awaiting to be applied. Might try to eek out the components a little longer until I can have a complete 11 speed system going with some new wheelsets for the race bike. For a while now I've been considering getting the bike stripped and repainted to a black frame with lightning blue or fluro yellow streaks and outlines. Sounds messy thinking about it but it would look epic in person.

So no hesitation recommending Merida to anyone looking at a new bike?

Depends on the model. A lot of the new mid range Merida road models have now gone to carbon frames so they aren't as durable and won't take the same punishment for obvious reasons while the lower models have a more casual setup/lower components (105, Sora, Deore etc) so it really depends on the rider. Some of the internal cable routing on a couple models is a bit difficult/more time consuming compared to others. But as always shop around to find what bike would be best for the rider.
