who needs rear brakes anyway ;).

The new 2post Ultegra Aero brakes are amazing though :)

Wow! I haven't seen brakes mounted like that since 1988, they certainly collect a lot of dirt and grit down there.

Quite the opposite actually. Long term test reports I've read said the brake actually remains remarkably clean as it is shielding by the frame from most debris etc even in the wet. Guess i'll find out the answer for myself within a few weeks :)

Oh, I forgot to update. Sadly RIP. Second time out on the bike and I got cleaned up by a semi-trailer and the frame's a write off.

Luckily my LBS ordered the last one up from Melbourne and have it in storage awaiting my recovery. So a shout out to AvantiPlus The Valley.

This was my new Scott CR1.

Being driven mad as I'm confined to the house and the couch at the moment. Probably driving many BNA members to distraction as well as all I do is trawl here all day and post in any and every thread keeping myself distracted.

Go nuts Briz, if it helps keep you sane while you're off the bike we're happy to be part of the process :D

Tough luck Briztoon! That sucks

I'm very happy that you are ok, and that the bike can be replaced.

Rest up and take it easy!

Hey mate, that's bad luck.

Hate to hear of anyone in a tangle, but it's good you're recovering.

Serves as yet another reminder how risky road riding can be.

All the best in your recoveries!

LOL...yeah, NO.

Some one must have a photo of a new bike. Otherwise I'm going to go hunting for a photo of my dream bling bike and post it up here. I haven't seen many Focus bikes in this thread, some people out there must have some. They are considered the best performance "plastic" bikes going around, so they're worth showing off. Much better than any show pony Pinarelos, Wilier and LOOK where it's a case of aesthetics over substance.

Here's an average pic from a quick snap in the office this afternoon.

New Giant Propel Advanced SL 0 (swapped the frame out with the black version instead of company blue version). DA9000 cleat and DA 9000 C50 Clinchers.

Those DA 9000 C50 Clinchers look sweet, I'll have to see how much a pair will set me back.

Notice I didn't mention Colnago in the show pony list.

Some of the latest offerings from Eurobike 2013.
