I find it weird that this forum doesn't have a specific section for Reid - is there some sort of boycott?

Personaly whilst i havnt bought a complete reid bike i do use them a lot for parts. Periodicly they have some very well priced bits. Such as $5.00 tires for my 26er.
I also find more value buying 2nd hand bikes and nearly bought a used reid falco a little while back.

Very nice Jason. Is that stem kinda short or is it the angle...that'd be a 56 frame?jasonc wrote:

That is a nice machine. ,jasonc wrote:
But yes, that stem looks very short. I guess I'm so used of looking at 130 and 140mm stems all the time - and some of those bikes are so aggressively setup even I couldn't ride them.
Some teams are getting arbitrary stem lengths, eg, 121mm for instance. Good luck for any of us getting such precise lengths. I have a 110mm and could probably do a 130mm and angle the saddle down a tiny bit. I like that stretched out riding position.fat and old wrote:No wonder it looks short. I have a 100 on a 51, and I'm wondering about a longer unit.

Now that i've moved back to Melbourne, I can get back on the saddle!
Here is my new BMC TimeMachine TMR02.
Went on 40km ride the other day and had a blast! However my avg speed was waaaaaay lower than what it was 3 years ago Time to get my ass on the saddle!
The stem will soon be flipped and lowered by one or two spacers.

(Yeah, that happens with not riding. 3 months a father and off the bike dropped my FTP by ~50W)
