It wont be much more work for something I can get as neat as my SRAM bike. It's already running a factory 10 speed Ultegra groupset.

Nice. And just like aligning your tyre labels to the valves and having beautiful, effortless curves to your cables, always photograph your bike with the drive side facing the camera - preferably in the big ring.
You know I didn't even realise that.

Thanks.

Love that you still added a spacer above that stem!

Why do you have two pumps?

Yes, there is a small triangle in the middle of the big triangle and just a little between the seat tube and chain stays! Hmmm... I'm sure I can work something out!

Well, I actually shortened the steerer by 15mm!
Two pumps? Redundacy really - one is getting long in the tooth and I don't want to find out half way up the Great Central Rd that it's decided to expire!

Ritchey bars, stem and seat post. Not sure where the quill adapter came from but when I find a proper quill I like I will probably swap the cockpit out for something more in keeping.

Wheels are Shamal Ultras. Groupset is current Super Record but with a slightly older crankset as I wanted 5 arms not the current 4 arm design.
Saddle is a surprisingly comfortable Selle Italia Turbo. Very cheap, fits the aesthetic and very comfortable.

Thanks for the reply and extra photos. I agree a proper quill stem (an XA perhaps) can only add to a very nice bike.

A nicer quill stem is the order of the day. Thankfully Nitto still manufactures really high quality stems. Or another alternative is to get an oversized quill from Factory Five and run a 31.8 bar. If you don't want to go down that pathway then you can always get a vintage stem off ebay.

The 2007 5200/Mad one replica made it out of the shed today. My 6770 groupset parts (front and rear shift kit) arrived in Brisbane yesterday, it wont be too long until the mad one replica gets a Di2 groupset upgrade to electronic shifting and I'll never have to worry about tuning the thing again. It's also my internal routing project. I'm going to drill a few holes in this one and probably have the only 2007 Team Disco bike with DI2 in the world. Those 6700 shifters are soon set to be mothballed for another bike owner who wants them.

The out front computer is going to be mounted pretty soon on a 3T stem mount to go with it being a 3T eye, I just have to work out what 3T bars I want to suit the stem. The bars on it are 44 wide  so I'm going to be downsizing to something a little nicer and with a bit more of a compact drop.

Still clocking up lots of miles on this bike, I've lost count of how much it has done, but it's a lot. It's probably my favourite of all the ones I have. It's in heavy form at the moment with wide wheels and tyres. The carbon wheels needed a number of spoke nipples replaced, and I didn't bother changing the wheels back over once I got them back.

I wish there was a better way of fixing the Garmin to the stem instead of using that ugly OEM garmin mount. If only there was something like those Fetha adaptors for the Garmin that would work with the Vibe 7S stem.

There are no gear cable, this bike has SRAM E-tap which after a lot of kilometres has turned out to be a very good system. Interesting that it pairs with the Garmin Edge 520 I have and shows the selected gear combination. That's a bit of a gimmick, but the indication of battery charge is handy.
