Are they China carbon rims Crawf? Did you lace the wheels yourself?
Yep, Yishun wheels as well, I love em'. Really noticed the difference jumping from Ksyrium SL's.
They were both pre built, but I have a set of 38mm's that I'm going to build up myself.

Go's really well, dont get much hassle from it, just the odd gear jumping from a bit of cable slackness and thats it.

Do you use your yishun wheels daily? trying to see how well they can hold, before getting one myself. Thanks!

OK, I know - Yawn...... not this Giant again........

My 2010 TCR Adv. 1 in it's 3rd and final guise. Now fitted with 2011 Campagnolo Record 11 speed group set. Surprisingly came in 200grams lighter than Ultegra 6700..... Bike now weighs in at 7.04kg as photographed here.

Oval R910 Aergo bars. They have a broad flat wing profile which suits me as I need to open my hand grip every so often on a ride (bad hands) great for soaking road vibrations. I think they are dinosaurs (discontinued) stock.

Hey OR can you give me a close up look at that bracket thing on the top of your stem & what is it for ? I'm guessing due to the shape of those "winged" bars it's a mounting device.

Cool looking machine btw.

Hey ZepinAtor,

It's a 'Purely Custom' stem cap mounting bracket. I purchased mine from Toronto Cycles but these may be avail. elsewhere now. It works a treat, bugger all vibrations and the rubber ring in the photo is not necessary (since removed) to hold steady a medium sized computer read out like a Sigma.

I tried a couple of head stem / bar clamp mount computer brackets and they were OK but vibrated on some sections of road which irked me a bit. This one looks like you might catch the family jewels on it reverse mounted like this but I can assure you after 1,000km + I've never thought twice about it.

Big brownie points to Gareth at Essendon Cyclery over this girl, he did a great job of answering a duallie n00bs questions.

She's not dirty yet, but I reckon it'll look just as good with mud all over it. I can take or leave the blue cables, but then its not my bike, izzit?

Here's my new roadie. Van Nicholas Euros with Campy Veloce groupo and Mavic Ksyrium Equipe wheels. Have commuted on it a few times to see if it worked, but have only been using it for audax rides. My arse didn't like the seat, so I swapped it with Selle Italia C2 on my MTB (which I don't ride much anyway). Also put R-540 SPD-SL pedals on it which came with one of our second hand bikes and are not in the photo.

I've just rebuilt my 1980's Farleigh road bike. Cracked the down tube and had it repaired by David Bowen at Bobo Bicycles, he arranged for sandblasting and then I painted it myself. Replica decals by Cyclomondo (he's now selling decals based on my original drawings).

Shimano 600 derailleurs
There's more photos in the retro forum
I'm very happy with the bike - a very smooth ride.

For me, there's a banner ad in the top right of this page for Van Nicholas :) . The link points to http://www.blueglobe.com.au/bicycles.

Cheers,
Simon.

Honestly, I've never seen more saddle bags in my entire life than I did on this page!

What is it with these massive saddle bags??? The MTB I can sort of understand but some of these are like suitcases!
