ajmit3, do you have a carefully-arranged pile of leaves in your living room? Or are you a sniper, and you're using your ghillie suit as a floor covering? What do the other snipers think of this misuse of your equipment?

Oh... and the bike's cool too, ya know. :)

He he.

Spent all my money on the bike - so instead of carpet I have a thin layer of leaves throughout the house. No seriously, the 'sniper' carpet is at my parents house - not sure whether I am a fan ....

Recently purchased from LBS, 2nd hand frame from a Defy Advanced 0 fitted with new Ultegra groupset. Pictured here after fitting some tyre lining tape as seen on the talc coated table behind.

...and not a day too soon neither. Not sure how many k's I did with whatever created that crater poking out.

Not sure what to do about this tyre now, it was only 3 days old!

Thanks heaps for that advice, I was unsure what to do with it, hunting for those patches now. Shoe goo? is that like some sort of hair product?

Your bars look quite high as well - maybe filp the stem and remove some spacers ? Otherwise - Nice bike - the new giants look really sleek and fast :D

sugino super mighty cranks, super record high flange pista hubs, ergal rims, fiamme crit. bars. no brakes of course.
Image

i also have a avanti corsa with9speed record, slwoly built it up over years.

They are, however a little unhappy to hear the comment "o yea that's where they all go" let's hope the replacement holds together.
It's a fantastic ride and a shame, but hey! at least I get a new one.

My old girl has been my stead of choice for 15 years now.
Shes well overdue for a strip and repaint.
She well travelled in the UK, Ireland and NZ, as well as some central tableland NSW.
I'm looking forward to some WA touring in the near future.

So BBright is BBwrong - interesting. They are supposed to be Paris/Roubais performers.
Its a pity. Those R3s are sexy bikes.

Here's my son's new ride built up using my old 5600 groupset and RS-20 wheelset... Now I just need to stop feeding the bugger so this one fits for a while... got to love that puberty and the growth hormones it produces :-)

Correct it isn't the BBright model being 2010 only. However a frame which confidently shows a sticker saying "Paris Roubaix Winner" should not have such a common issue. google R3 frame crack. Common.

Update on the current stable

I've done a bit of recycling and reconfigured my 2 old bikes with bits

The Ironhorse hybrid now has 9 speed Tiagra, drops, Mavic wheels and CX tyres, mudguards.

Image

My red HASA Roadie is now a black Flatbar Single Speed

And the Felt F5 looks like this.
