Thanks:) Thats my brothers bike. Merida Reacto 909, ultegra and token C50's.
The stand was just a generic workstand from ebay i think.

I saw both of you when you were on the way back. Great location that! Don't want to think what is lurking inside that...

Needs an extra bottle cage. Can't expect to ride far with only one bottle! :)

Struggle to get another in there that frame is tiny - not much bigger than my 12yo daughters Cannondale Synapse 5
2008 Specialized SWorks Roubaix SL - Zipps - Campag - Nuff Said
1986 Spokesman Model 11 Racing - Campag Nuvo Record - Stronglight - Shimano 600

My new ride:

Image
Image

The appalling thing is I got it home late last night, too late and dark to go for a ride, and then swapping over wheels, putting the new cassette on the rear wheel, pads, adjust the brakes and some temporary bidon cages to it, put a profile on the garmin. By the time I was finished with that, it was dark. And this afternoon again home too late. :( I did however have a quick little loop around the yard to get a feel for the ultegra pedals, check the tension on them to avoid any embarrassing little incidents and just get a first feel of the way the thing is. All good. :) Feels no different to my old bike in that respect.

Work to do - work out how I go mounting a light on the back of it, given the awkward shape of the seat post (it's part of the frame!) and putting some new carbon bidon cages on it so the thing is all colour keyed up. My normal front wheel is off getting some work done on it, so I'll put that one back on when it is done.

And damn, I hate the rolling back of daylight savings time. It is evil. Nothing good comes from that stupid change. Should be daylight savings time all year round. :D

Stunning bike (I've got a 2013 SL0) but I've never seen that colour or groupset as an Oz option.
As for rear light, it'll have to be something like a Knog with elastic strap or a chainstay/seat rail mount ala Radbot.
It's a bit warmer here than Scotland isn't it!

Nice giants boys.

As for lights and aero posts, my mate used a zip tie for his. Maybe use some leccy tape to not scratch the post, also helps give it some friction so it wont slide up/down.

Looks fantastic mate - black frame with green highlights is what drove me to buy my CAAD10. The colours work very well together.

Enjoy it.
