Edge wheels are tubs. Wont say how much they were, but I had them built by a builder in the US and they cost less than half what the Aussie 'distributer' Cycling Edge were asking for...

I have finally upgraded from my flatbar to a roadie. It looks like southern Adelaide is turning into a TCR zone & SeanB beat me to it yesterday :D

All I need now is install my Garmin and wait for the weather to clear so I can ride without getting my new pride and joy wet & dirty :P

It's the Mid Season TCR 1 alloy model (carbon forks & seatpost) with full 105 groupset that was released as a limited run to test the market. I was luck enough to get one of the few left in my size.

My bike stable is growing... and growing... I am only adding the bikes as they are ridable, there are 3 more in the works at the moment - parts are taking for ever to get here from Ebay and the UK!

The new addition

1990(ish) Giant Perigee 7 speed shimano with Araya 700c wheelset - its my old Tri bike from back in the day. Had it sent over from WA to the Gold coast. Given her a tidy up, service and gotten ride of some junk that didnt need to be on there (it had wheel reflectors and front and rear reflectors... Say What was I thinking back then?) stripped the aero bars off it and kept her simple and clean - she will now be my commute to work bike. Ahhhh loving the feel of old steel frames!

I bought the missus a beach cruiser from Velogear.com.au for mothers day and picked up a good weeride baby seat from Ebay near new. Its a start and I'm hoping it gets her hooked on this cycling game aswell.

Some recent changes to my R3 since I got the warranty replacement frame. Put some classic bend alloy 3T Rotundo bars on. Love them. Also picked up a FSA seatpost with setback.

This is my ride...

Image

2007 Avanti Blade Sport with the following upgrades;
- Syntace Aero Bars
- Shimano PDR-540 Pedals
- Ritchey Pro Seat Post
- Carbon Titanium Saddle (off eBay which has neither Carbon nor Titanium! )
- Michelin Speedium2 700x23 Tyres
- BBB Saddle Bag
- Bottle, Pump, Lights

This bike has been great over the last 2½ years as a first step to road cycling. Does the job for now, but I am getting a bit tired of the 3x8 gearing and would like a proper road bike soon!

This is my first bike - didn't (thankfully) have a clue about all the other drool-worthy and much more expensive bikes out there when I first got it. Just picked it out from the shop. I've changed a few bits and pieces to it, still a bit suss about the red tyres but can't be bothered not too happy about spending more money to change it. Very happy with it otherwise !

Ok, so fitted the new parts this evening... Fulcrum Racing 3's with GP4000S tyres, Look Keo 2 Carbon pedals, 3T ARX Team stem, 3T Ergosum Team bars, Fizik tape, 3T Dorico seat post, Selle Italia SLR Fibra saddle. Also fitted a complete new set of Campy gear and brake cables.

Still gotta play around with seat height and stem/bar height, etc.

Please disregard upside down cage as I have to re drill them so they actually fit.
