SO how does the Cube compare? Having the same group set and wheels would give you a very good comparison.

certainly are mate they match my Bont shoes & my oakley glasses ;-) after riding the cube the merida feels more suited to road riding or longer rides the bont is a race bike , very stiff & responsive also the bars feel lower & the bling value gets more a few places higher in the sprint ;-)

Thanks Strydz, the bike is still in the making though. Stem and Handlebar will be replaced to match the fork. I am also thinking of replacing the Token headset into something else.

Yep, you are an inspiration here. I made some minor modification, and yours is still prettier with those wheels and ISP expander. My ISP expander is a homebrew version. You now have just reminded me to buy a 3T stem too! :)

The extended seat tube on this looks brilliant. Makes me wish I'd gotten a custom frame! Where is the DI2 battery hiding?

Crawf is using a nice FSA topper.
My topper is a home brew. A modified topper from a Ti seat post.
I cut one of my spare Ti Seat Post to length, then used the Hope Headset Expander so it will fit nice and snug. I think the photos below will speak a thousand words :D

A spacer can be used if more saddle height is required. I no longer have the spacer as that bit showing assembled with a saddle is too high for me.
