There are a few velomobiles down south (Trisled Rotovelo, etc) - Melbourne & South Australia but I've not seen another velo in Brisbane.

There is one here in WA ...

Excuse my niavety (?) Whats with the straps around the brifters?

Holds the break on, stops the bike rolling forward when leaning up against something. use a section of an old inner tube ( mtb, road tube wont stretch) .

Handy on the train - rubber bands work well too

I also do the brake trick, tip I picked up here, (with a bit of velcro) helps a heap when back pedalling to clean the chain. Although I wasn't sure if there was any negative aspects to keeping the lever applied all the time.

How do you get Flickr links to show up as images ? ??

Old: 2010 Oppy A4 selling for $600 - hopefully. A really nice bike. Done about 5600 km on it in a year.



New: 2011 Berserker Green CAAD10 - 7.1 kg at present.

Changed the wheels - from Askiums to Pro Lite Breccianos Thanks - Jacks1071 on these forums

Changed Handlebar tape to Deda Green - but now changing to Fizik Green - don't like the clash...
Put in lightweight skewers
Changed Cannondale seatpost to Thompson Ultimate ...
Changed Cannondale handlebars to Deda Newton 42cm
Changing saddle to Fizik Antares
Might put Supersonic tubes in...

So be about 6.9 kg all up...

PS gotta cut the steerer as well That will be a bit of work... Still waiting on the saddle as well...
