Yep they're already a nice shade of cream with grey brake gunge highlights. Loving the change from Conti GP4000s though.Crawf wrote:
Not sure about the White tyres though, they should stay White for all of about a week
Can you post an ebay link where you got them?MADCAP wrote:Wannbee PRO Name Stickers - "Well its a nice touch to the Colnago" - from ebay
Actually the downhill there isn't as good as it looks. The road up ahead doesn't connect up to the downhill, and the descent I'm on there does a shape left turn and then turns into the South Eastern Freeway (no bikes allowed). There is a dedicated bikeway though.Mugglechops wrote:Great looking bike. I bet that downhill is funnickl wrote:My new ride
.
The RS80 C50s are good. The seem fast, and the braking is great.warren.suen wrote:nickl wrote:My new ride

My farm bike .
Early 90s Graecross Legacy, used it for a while in a desperate attempt to cultivate some bike handling skills, now that i only ride on the road it's just used for getting about the paddocks, hence the ghetto singlespeed (the derailleur kept getting jammed with grass). Couldn't help but get a little bit fancy with it, the front wheel is a nice Deore DX hub with a Mavic rim .
I got the very same one's for the very same price and they are really good. I have ridden in some pretty strong side winds and they are very stable. Although not a climbing wheel I recently did a reasonable ride with around 2km climb overall , they are nice and stiff . Great descending at speednickl wrote:The RS80 C50s are good. Kinda heavy though (1875g according to http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/ ... t-11-44503" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). I've noticed sidewinds a little bit, but nothing too serious.
There are good deals on them atm, too. I got them from CyclingExpress for ~$730 (through they seem sold out now).

Merlincycles UK could help. ~ $750 shipped for a set if my memory serves me correct. I have used them previously and they take about a week, decent service from the UK.warren.suen wrote: They look the business and the new ones have the latest graphics on them they look like the big brother dura ace ones..
