They are similar in size, but I wouldn't cal this frame flexi - far from it (I used to have the Lyskey r340 - that was a flexi frame)

I hope you have rectified this most grievous oversight by now.
Apart from the fundamental uselessness of them things, they detract from a gorgeous frame.

My new bike that I've been building over the last few weeks.

Chinese carbon frame, LX + XT drivetrain, BB7 brakes, etc. Still waiting for some more (better) parts to arrive, but it does the job for now.

My commuter/spare bike. Merida Race Lite 904. It's currently getting an overhaul of groupset, but it's been a nice bike to ride to work and back  and the geometry and set-up matches my Kuota perfectly!

Tell me about it.. I was tenative to get one at first.. but the price was right and i took a stab. Now there's an overwhelming temptation to get a Reacto too... Not fussed about the brand so long as the bike is up to the task!

Nice 904. I I might have to get one.... oh wait. I already have one

It looks weird with the silver groupset. Aren't the black 105s the standard group set that they come with?

I bought it as a frame intended it to be a cheap commuter build and it kinda spiralled from there. The group is silver cos it's a Tiagra set paired with a 105 5600 chainset. Or at least it was - giving it the Black 105 treatment when that arrives in the mail next week. It's a handy steed and actually quite comfy on 25mm tyres :D

How do you find it? The fork is pretty hand and it certainly steers nicely :)

Ah. That explains the small and subtle differences with the seat post, stem, wheels and running gear :P

I find that it's a very enjoyable bike. I bought it as my first proper roadie and now use it for road/training and wet weather duties hence why its done about 11.5k on it in just over a year. Indeed it does steer very nicely even when pushing some crazy speeds. Even on rough roads there is still good feedback in the bars and dampens the vibrations pretty good. The only things I'd like to upgrade on it would be the levers as I'm in love with the ease of the dura ace shifting and the braking system as the feedback can be a bit... vague ie feels heavy. On the flats or general rides its not even noticeable but descending the braking feedback is very noticeable. But then again I'm a demon for the descents 8)

A pic of my latest steed:

S-Works SL3 Tarmac limited edition Andy Schleck.
After watching the 2010 TdF, I just HAD to have this bike. After receiving the frame, I was disappointed that the factory Specialized colour was a dull silver and nothing like the black chrome 'Mclaren' silver of the Schleck brother's bikes. I employed the services of Paint My Bike in Brisbane and they got extremely close but more importantly a huge difference compared to the run of the mill colour released to the general public.

Its 99% accurate in terms of the parts used, including the hard to get parts of a Berner modified Sram red rear derailluer and the limited edition Prologo Schleck saddle (I got greedy and got 1 x Frank and 1 x Andy model). I was even lucky enough to find a brand new set of Zipp Zedtechs here on BNA. There are only 3 extremely minor differences, equipmen wise between Andy's bike and my build being a Sram XG1090 cassette, SRAM 2013 chain catcher and Speedplay steel spindles. The Schleck bikes are 56cm compared to mine being a 54cm.

Cool bike, I really like how you set your mind on exactly what you wanted and went for it :) .

That silver looks sweet.
