You will struggle to find more stopping power than DA.

What frame size is your CLX 3?

Matt or gloss paint?

Looks truly beautiful to me I really do like the CLX frame shape............. :D
Matt finish

Think DA is the way to go? The only reason i ask is to save some weight with TRP

the red/silver chain is awesome - is that a 10-speed jobbie?

No, 9-speed but they do have the red/silver chain in 10 speed (as well as blue/silver and black/silver). KMC also did a limited edition pink/silver for breast cancer awareness but I don't have a pink bike and it wouldn't match. :)

I'm a Campagnolo devotee but rode a TCR with DA 7900 brakes in a previous life. As much as I love my Campag. Record/Super Record sets, the DA 7900 brakes are the best I've had to use in anger. The TRP calipers may be the bees knees - I can't vouch for them - either way I'd take function over form in the braking dept. any day.........

(AT) blkmcs - Nice to see another genesis equilibrium. Very happy with mine. Nice looking bike! :)
(AT) jaseyjase - still playing with the saddle position atm, expecially when climbing long hills. I often find myself sitting a bit far back just to get comfortable when pedalling on the saddle. :)

My fleet. Well 3/4 of it 'cos I don't have pics of the commuter:

Image
2005 Giant TCR Composite 2 with Gravity Zero 38mm carbon clinchers. Despite the appearance from the attachments, I am not a triathlete! I just used to do a lot of long solo rides. :)

Image
2012 Giant Anthem X, very custom spec: 2012 model frame & wheels (Shimano Deore XT), 2011 SLX 3x10 groupset, 2013 RockShox Reba fork, mismatched (yes, I know it's against The Rules! :P )carbon bar/stem/seatpost scrounged off another forum. The primary play bike these days.

Image
The race toy! ThinkHPV Bullet fairing, with custom chassis, also built by ThinkHPV in Bendigo.
