Cranked over 10k today - see how the rest of the year pans out, I 'spose...

Keep up the good work all.

I don't think I'll be in that one this year

I've just passed 8,000km so far this year, with just over 100,000m climbing (I have a hilly commute). Most of this is my commute, except for about 870km and 20,400m climbing done during 2 weeks in the European Alps and French side of the Pyrenees (from which I returned 4 weeks ago).

1000km behind Hergest. That will hopefully change soon, along with elevation too (well, that's the plan...). ;)

I wont mention the ACF Endomondo commuter challenge as those km will put you ahead of me

Shh, no need for more competition. By the way, has the weather improved in Auckland? You seem to be stacking up the KMs too.

bad weather means more km as its hard to get grip climbing... also sick so no gym which gives me more time to do more km... will be back to normal soon but then daylight savings is coming... will have time to climb and pick up distance

I rolled over 6k this morning. I only got back on the bike after 12 days off on Monday.

I have slipped behind but hoping to claw back.

Some freaky riding on display here.

Passed 8k this morning and slowed to 67k up.

Been a slower month with a sore back interfering with longer rides. And I am about to have 4 weeks off the bike...

We'll see how I go after I get back from Europe. I have a suspicion the Europe trip will be a one off. If I ever did move to London or somewhere like that, then it would be a lot easier.

The pleasure of having my old mum still alive and kicking in England is that once a flight is bought the holiday is pretty much free of charge so I've got 5 weeks and a bit to look forward to from the end of next week. It's not quite as hilly as where you're going but more so than here.

I have been looking at the numbers (my job) and currently on 9239km and 135,509mtr climbing... to make 15000km and 200,000mtr I need to do 360km and 4031mtr climbing a week for the rest of the year.
Climbing is easy enough and I am now aiming for 250km a week commuting which leaves 1761km to do on the weekends, 1 weekend I have an 800km gravel grind to do which leaves 320km of weekend riding a month so realistically I should do it and still stay in the good books at home

Far out cancan. Our numbers aren't far apart. I won't hit 15k this year though. 200k of climbing should be possible

Doing well on the 10K, but today also a milestone of a different kind: rolled over 30,000KMs on the Cannondale flatbar. I'll admit, it's the second frame (first broke, replaced under warranty), second set of wheels, who knows how many chains, cassettes and tyres. Quite amazing how far that bike has traveled.

Very happy to have hit 10, 000 km's, consistently above 1,000 km's per month. Hope to keep it going and have my biggest year yet.

116km/3360m+ ? You're definitely still in Europe.
