What a cracking day for it! Chose the longer version, with a few extra miles to close out my 3rd Imperial for the year. Clocked up 20 Metrics so far.

was slack last month and no century rides at all so went out Sunday for a leisurely 177km ride to the pub and back... Heaps of gravel and mud to make it much more fun. Did plan for more mud on the way back but the rain came and temp dropped below 10c so skipped it ... heading up the same way next month

Braved the elements on the weekend and rode 140km mostly gravel and tracks. I had planned a big weekend with an overnight camp but forecast was heavy rain and winds... which hit 3km from my car... photos in the strava link but was hard to keep the phone dry

First 30klm's looked good...all downhill Cancan!

No more Imperials for me since last update but added four metrics including a slightly accidental one on Sunday - was only meant to be 70-80 but too much fun was being had. But it made up for the Saturday where I fell 23klm short due to sleeping in.

Metrics -17 Imperials - 6

Managed to hit my first metric century ride in a year and a half yesterday. Last 20km did hurt a little but still did it.

You clearly aren't in Melbourne!

Congrats, I'm hoping to do my first imperial this year by doing Around the Bay.

Thanks and have fun with your 161km. :)

Sydney- and yesterday was an unusual blip. Today was properly cold again, could feel my fingers getting very cold despite the gloves.

I followed up the 162km yesterday with 113km today.

My first double century for the year on Sunday... and mostly gravel with a little mud track detour.. After 2 weeks of rain the weekend was magic but I didnt check the temp before I left and fingers and toes froze as it hovered around zero for a while and I wore fingerless gloves and light socks...there was enough climbing to keep the rest of me warm

I am hoping to get an imperial in before then :). Or I really will struggle with the 210.
But I keep rolling out the metrics, number 8 for the year.
We will see how this weekend goes for weather.

Ride to the start, do The Lap then ride home. Depending where you start & finish from you could clock up an imperial double. I called it Ironbum when I did it. :-)
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

I'd be about 9KMs from the start/finish so I doubt I can do a double imperial. One is enough.

A bunch of 5 of us Cairns locals took on the 324 km run up the road to Cooktown last weekend, clocking up the double imperial. It was somewhat challenging, but most rewarding!

Less riding than normal recently but...

Yesterday I rode from Coolum to Brisbane with 100k solo and 60 with a mate...riding Sth into a SW that was nudging 50kph at times. The Hornibrook bridge...flat out doing 20kph. Nasty. I think it was the hardest ride I have ever done.

last month was 120km mostly off road... with some good hills https://www.strava.com/activities/1153846792

Last weekend was a wet bike packing trip to Coromandel...heaps of gravel, tracks and funny enough hills.
Day 1 was over 80km (Strava added ferry trip so dropped part of ride) but was a tough wet 80km https://www.strava.com/activities/1167225648
and day 2 was 120km. The ferry was cancelled which I didnt know about and they sent buses to pick up everyone but i was on the jetty, which they didnt check... so was left behind... and my phone was broken but thankfully I stopped a car who spotted the bus and they managed to get me otherwise I was looking at another 200km ride back home https://www.strava.com/activities/1167225902

Thats 8 Metrics, 4 Imperials and 1 double

I can't even remember the last century I rode :(. On the other hand, I'm getting 1-20s power PRs :-)

Another bike packing metric... I think... Garmin had issues so ride was recorded on multiple devices and some missing but cue sheets have ride at 97.7 and I rode 4km to start...a few wrong turns so should just be over 100km... The ride should have been 130km but I forgot to check the Di2 charge and battery went flat at around the 12km mark so spent the weekend spinning in 50x40 ... day 2 should have been 144km but I took the direct route which was 80ish

I did the century ride on my surly ecr offroad bike (29+ with 3" tyres) a few weeks ago...offroad.
