It would be hard to imagine your situation, as if a new baby is not enough pressure??
As they say one day you will look back & laugh at this, but I would say its no laughing matter at the moment.
On the plus side, I got to see all Tabitha's changes in the first 3 months. Louisa kept great spirits and she's back to limping around now :-).

Record month for me - 880kms which means I am above 3K for the year. Easter meant I could get a couple of longer rides in where I would only usually have a commute. Some weekend group rides also helped.

Spent 2 mind blowing days commuting to work on this  .

Certified Weapons Grade. In 60-something ks of riding, I think only 5 of those were on tarmac. So insanely quick, and it wasn't even set up for me, note the angle of the saddle  The Boss took pity on me breaking the chain on my BSO and seeing as his was sitting at work and he wouldn't have time to ride it he let me take it home. The fork needs some tuning, but the rear suspension is like a riding a magic carpet, nothing gets thru.

So now the hunt is on (for a bike I can't afford  ). I'd buy the alloy version of the one above, but Epics only come in 29ers these days, and I want a 27.5

Finally moved through that 2000K mark.
Rode the Great Brisbane Bike Ride on Sun 110km /1600meters climbed, tough for an old rider but I enjoyed it immensely.

First century for the year this morning with a pleasant foreshore cruise on a perfect day. Also rolled through 3000 km in the process which keeps me comfortably in the green. :)

Thanks

I unfortunately have been unable to ride this week as I did myself a mischief (don't worry not an off but sprain). So I am trying to rest it properly this week, as I trained on it last week and made it worse.

I have just completed a challenge from the Warsaw Spin Challenge, 700km for May.

A bit puzzling how the leaders amount these results below:

Leaderboard
Current Rank (Mustang)8,571 / 17,779 Riders

1st
CURRENT LEADER
kaido2 CykloOpole
Poland 41 Rides 5,388 Km = 131km average per ride in 27 days ?????????????????????????

2nd - Gabriele Lodovici
Lombardia, Italia 31 Rides 3,683 km = 118km average per ride in 27 days???????

Maybe some one here can explain? I would say the first place is somewhat doubtful? :?

Looks like he just rides a lot. There are quite a few people on strava who do regular long rides just cause they can. Nice work on the 700 for the month, you're looking good in green!

Are these actually real rides or spin-classes/trainer rides?

For real rides, I think it is easily possible. During the holidays I did do over 145km per day for 7 days in a row and could have kept that going.

Not all that puzzling, some people have the time and ability to ride like that. During one of the festive 500's there was a bloke in Ibiza that smashed out several hundred kms every day.

In my riding, had a good week. Aiming to do similar for the next 3 weeks before going out field for 2 weeks.

Continuing to keep myself a nice little buffer before being forced off the bike for a 2 week OS work trip.
Also expecting my riding to slow a little if the winter weather gets worse, but I did get out in the 8 deg rain in Melb today to put 22k on my MTB :)

Well, with the Warsaw 700 I stand corrected. (The rides are outdoor, registered through Strava)
At 65 years of age I find these results staggering,
My longest ride has been 170km followed up with a 120km next day, then a week to recover :P

Well done Mustang on the Warsaw 700 and your century rides and green looks your colour.
I too managed to complete the Warsaw with 914km for the month, my biggest month this year by a large margin, so happy with that. Nice to have a bit of a buffer.

I like you are amazed at the distances achieved by others particularly Amanda Coker's record rides (11,462km this month with a day to ride, admittedly on a dead flat course)

I am on for my biggest month of the year.

If I can do 74kms today I will crack the 1000.

Go hard Llewy!

My end of the month reckoning is 778km with 11,566m of up. Not huge though it was my highest mileage this year (by 1 km) and I'm pretty pleased that I managed my first Audax 200km ride in 12 months last week plus I got a bit of mountain biking in too, so all in all a good month :-)

Nice work Grant.

I didn't make it. Time and the wind were against me.

I ended up with 989kms and 10065 metres of elevation.

The most so far this year.

Some great numbers there fellers. Mugglechops, you're smashing it. Love your buffer :)

Happy with a 608km month, given a bit of half speed MTBing thrown in.
6726m up.

Great effort on 989km & the climbing as well. Must have been a appointment not to hit 1000, wow I have only ever done one 900 ,so I know how much work you put in.

848 kms in May for me. Year to date total is 3,875. Too many more -4 mornings and my buffer could disappear quite quickly.
