Speed Wobbles

Wobbles.....
How fast is too fast (road legal of course) and what should I consider a maximum speed for a Trek 3900 mtb.
I have skinny road tyres and so far have topped out (before squeezing the brakes lightly) at 71kph! No Wobbles

Do bikes come with a manufacturer top speed??

you will be fine up to 100-120 on a safe bit of road.

Many years ago as a kid (when I had less sense than I do now), I had a bike that I took down hill and topped my speedo out at 55 miles per hour, I guess that converts to about 88k/ph. My tyres were so un balanced that I thought my teeth would fall out. I haven't had the urge to repeat that effort on a bike.
